Our Commitment

Realcovery Idaho LLC believes that everyone deserves equal access to information about recovery support services. Navigating the path to recovery is challenging enough without barriers to finding the help you need. This website has been designed with accessibility as a core principle, not an afterthought, so that every person seeking information about sober living in Twin Falls, Idaho, can access our content regardless of ability or assistive technology used.

We are committed to an ongoing effort to ensure our digital presence remains accessible and usable for all visitors, including those who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification software, speech recognition tools, and other assistive technologies.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Realcovery Idaho LLC's website (www.realcoveryidaho.com) is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard due to third-party embeds outside our direct control.

We are actively working toward full Level AA conformance and pursuing Level AAA enhancements wherever practical, including enhanced color contrast ratios, extended text customization options, and multiple ways to navigate content.

Measures Taken

Realcovery Idaho LLC takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions for screen reader navigation
  • ARIA labels and roles on all interactive components including navigation menus, dialogs, toggles, and form controls
  • Color contrast ratios meeting or exceeding WCAG AA requirements: minimum 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components
  • Full keyboard navigation support across all pages, menus, forms, and interactive elements
  • Skip navigation links allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive content and jump directly to main content
  • Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements using a high-contrast gold outline for clear visibility
  • Responsive design that adapts to all screen sizes, orientations, and zoom levels up to 400%
  • Dark and light theme support with automatic detection of system preferences via prefers-color-scheme
  • Reduced motion support honoring the prefers-reduced-motion system setting and providing a manual toggle
  • Text size controls allowing users to increase base font size without loss of content or functionality

Accessibility Features Available

Our website includes a built-in accessibility options panel with the following customization tools:

  • Text size adjustment — Choose from Small (14px), Medium (16px), Large (18px), or X-Large (20px) base font sizes
  • High contrast mode — Increases contrast ratios beyond WCAG AA minimums for improved readability
  • Reduce motion toggle — Disables animations and transitions for users sensitive to motion
  • Reading guide — Displays a horizontal line that follows mouse or touch position to help maintain reading focus
  • Link highlighting — Adds visible underlines and enhanced styling to all links for improved discoverability
  • Dark/light theme toggle — Switch between dark and light color schemes with automatic system preference detection
  • Screen reader optimized — ARIA live regions announce dynamic content changes, form validation states, and navigation updates

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the website may have limited accessibility:

  • Google Maps iframes — Embedded map components have limited keyboard navigation. To mitigate this, we provide full text addresses as links to Google Maps directions so all users can access location information without needing to interact with the embedded map.
  • Third-party embeds — Some third-party content, including payment processing forms and social media embeds, may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We work with providers who prioritize accessibility and provide alternative contact methods for any transactions or interactions.

We are actively monitoring these limitations and will update affected content as improved solutions become available.
